Acceptance trials of the SIMULEB project successfully concluded

On 20 December the acceptance trials of the SIMULEB project were deemed satisfactory based on the final report, and the project outcomes were recommended for implementation in the department of the Ministry of Defence.

The solution is designed for modelling of analog and digital radio networks and traffic, which are used to train electronic warfare (EW) specialists in a simulation room. The SW allows creation of simulated scenarios on a map underlay by defining friendly and enemy units, communication systems and networks. Scenarios can be started repeatedly and their course altered. After starting a scenario, messages with description of signals are generated and fed into the software suites of EW surveillance systems, where the signals are displayed and processed based on the parameters describing the signal. After the exercise ends, it is possible to perform evaluation of the trainees.
