STAR MANPACK

Manpack protective jammer

STAR MANPACK is a lightweight, modular, multiband, programmable and digital manpack jammer for the protection of dismount units out of the protection umbrella of the vehicular jammer, for support of the EOD (Explosive ordnance disposal) teams,

According to the variant, jammers are designed to act against RCIEDs (Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices) or unmanned systems – UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). STAR MANPACK is available in the following variants::

STAR MANPACK C – RCIED jammer with continuous jamming,

STAR MANPACK C2 -RCIED jammer kit with continuous jamming,

STAR MANPACK EOD – jammer to support the disposal of RCIED,

STAR MANPACK AD  – anti-drone jammer with handheld guidance antenna system RIFLE AD,

STAR MANPACK R  – RCIED jammer with reactive jamming.

Depending on the configuration of the jammer, the output power can be 80/160 W.

Deployed to the Czech Armed Forces since 2009 and to the Czech MoI special units since 2021.

The first version of the STAR MANPACK R jammer was created with the financial support of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic as part of project TA04011556.
