At the turn of September and October, a large-scale experimental exercise “Drone Shield 2024” took place at the Březina military training area near Vyškov, Czech Republic. Our company, URC Systems, had the honour of taking part and presenting our systems for detecting and elimination drones. The exercise brought together the Czech Army, armourers and other companies to test new anti-drone technologies. This experience has strengthened our commitment to contribute to safety and innovation in airspace protection and to continue to develop and produce solutions against UAVs.

The JUPITER Mobile operations, communication and monitoring centre was honoured by an important visit of the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. It took place during his recent visit to the Czech team’s hockey match at the World Championship in Prague. We are very proud that the JUPITER helps the State Security Forces to keep safety during such important sports events.

The Faculty of Military Technology of the University of Defence informed on its website about the workshop on the NEOCLASSIG project, of which we were proud co-organisers. An international workshop on the NEOCLASSIG project took place from 26 to 27 September. This project deals with the improvement of automatic methods for the classification of radio and radio-technical signals and is co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

On 11 October, the NATO EOD Centre of Excellence launched the seventh NATO EOD Demonstration and Trials 2023 in Bratislava. URC Systems with QinetiQ and DOK-ING robotic systems manufacturing companies are presenting their product solutions designed not only for EOD teams. URC Systems is the exclusive distributor of QinetiQ robotic systems for the Czech Republic and Slovakia and DOK-ING for the Czech Republic.

On 7 and 8 June 2023, our team URC Systems traditionally attended the 7th Conference of the Signal Corps of the Czech Army in Lipník nad Bečvou, where we met with representatives of the Signal Corps and other defense industry companies. Together with our partner company JISR Institute, we presented, among others, system solutions in the areas of detection and counteraction against UAVs during the practical part of the conference.

We are proud to announce the publication of an articles on the STARKOM system supplied by URC Systems with the contribution of the systems engineering company of JISR Institute, under the auspices of the state enterprise VVÚ and in cooperation with TDV company and other national partners.

From 15th to 16th June 2022 in Lipník nad Bečvou took place the VI. The Conference of the Signal Corps of the Army of the Czech Republic was organized by the Communication and Information Systems Section (SKIS) of the Ministry of Defence and the Agency of Communication and Information Systems (AKIS) in cooperation with the Czech branch of AFCEA.

URC Systems, as the exclusive representative of QinetiQ North America, has delivered a total of 7 new robots for the EOD specialists of the 15th Engineer Regiment of the Czech Armed Forces.

On 26 January 2022, two types of new chemical vehicles (S-LOV-CBRN I and S-LOV-CBRN II) were handed over to soldiers from the 31st Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defence Regiment. The delivery also included protective STAR jammers from URC Systems.

On 27 January 2022 we successfully completed the acceptance tests, operator training and handed over to the Foreing Police Service the first two of the eleven Command and Control vehicles in the MMC variant (Mobile Monitoring and Communication Center) – “C2VAN“.
