Workshop in connection with NEOCLASSIG project

The Faculty of Military Technology of the University of Defence informed on its website about the workshop on the NEOCLASSIG project, of which we were proud co-organisers.

An international workshop on the NEOCLASSIG project took place from 26 to 27 September. This project deals with the improvement of automatic methods for the classification of radio and radio-technical signals and is co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

Representatives of the hosting organisations, the University of Defence and URC Systems welcomed representatives of Vietnam’s Le Quy Don Technical University in Hanoi. The first day of the meeting was held at URC’s premises and the Vietnamese delegation was welcomed by leading representatives of URC Systems. The focus of the first day was presentations by each participants and their significant progress in the implementation of the project.

On the second day of the workshop, the Rector – Commander, Brigadier General Professor Zuzana Kročová, Ph.D. welcomed representatives from Le Quy Don Technical University, key members of the project from URC Systems and researchers from the Department of Communication Technologies, Electronic Warfare and Radiolocation at the premises of the University of Defence and had a brief discussion with them about mutual cooperation.
